Where an event closes the road entirely, the van cannot be moved once it is in, which is a different problem from not being able to park at all. A peninsula is an island with one end tied to a run, which means the join between them has to be planned rather than allowed to happen. The template records every angle in that shape as it actually is rather than as the plan drew it. Real angles, not plan angles. Material is £110-£550 per square metre supply only, and templating, fabrication and fitting are quoted on their own lines.

Anything that has to stay accessible, a stopcock, a gas meter, a riser panel, is marked on the template so the stone is cut around it instead of over it. Quartz is the sensible default in a rental: nothing to seal, nothing to maintain, and nothing an incoming tenant needs briefing on.
