A lobby wall that leans shows itself along the back return, so that edge is cut to the line the wall actually takes. A packer belongs under the joinery, never under the counter.

An old stone top is heavier coming out than the new one is going in, and leaves in sections. Taking the old tops off and disposing of them is its own line on the quote rather than something folded into the stone price. The units are untouched. Only the top of them changes. Streets near a ground or a venue have restrictions that come and go with the fixture list rather than with the time of day. A reception fit is often booked outside opening hours precisely because that is when the kerb in front of the building is free. The van stays put while the carcass is being scribed to.

Supply through us runs £110 to £550 per square metre for the slab alone, which is the line you would be removing. If your own slab breaks there is no matching replacement to hand, and that is the real difference. Remnants bought elsewhere are the awkward case, because the drawing is then made to fit the stone. The junction between the original room and the extension is the point to watch, because the two floors rarely sit at the same height. A fit-out programme puts the counter last, behind the joiner and the electrician, which is exactly when the least time is left to template it.
