What a table top needs from us is a size, a shape and the base plate it has to be drilled to, and very little else. Wine, citrus and a bleach cloth decide the material.

Ordered later from a different batch, the match is not reliable where the two pieces meet. An upstand covers the gap where the worktop meets a wall that is not flat, which is its real job. If it is a decision for later, say so at the template: the match is a question about the batch. Runs are short enough that a single slab covers the whole kitchen, which makes the material choice the main lever on the total.
