A seal is not waterproofing. It only buys time to wipe a spill up. Bleach and limescale remover harm a polished finish rather than clean it, whichever material is on the units. Topping a seal up is a wipe-on job with a cloth. These flats have been reconfigured more than once, so the kitchen often sits in what was a bedroom with services run a long way to reach it. A pharmacy counter is two heights before anyone draws it, with a consultation position at the low level and a dispensing side that never meets the public, and the apertures for a card reader and a till sit at the transaction shelf. A fit-out programme puts the counter last, behind the joiner and the electrician, which is exactly when the least time is left to template it. Repeat receptions are worth settling once and then leaving alone.
