The most substantial family housing in the borough. Large 1930s detached houses with rear extensions producing kitchen-diners of 6m or more, islands over 2.5m with a breakfast overhang, separate utilities and often a second sink and a boiling tap.

The rear room is generous with a chimney breast in one corner, so the run gains a return and two scribed ends whatever the plan drew. We measure the front door, the hall width and the turn into the kitchen before anything comes off the van, because a 3m piece has to swing through that corner on edge and stone does not bend to help you. The slow parts are slow for a reason.
The stock behind these kitchens runs to 1930s mock-Tudor detached, Edwardian house, conservation-area cottage and large post-war detached. A quote that ignores which one you have is guessing.
