The old village cottages near St Mary's have small closed kitchens with 2m to 2.5m runs and a return under the window, while the 1980s dock housing and later riverside blocks give a squarer room with a peninsula dividing kitchen from living space. Unrestricted kerbside is straightforward as long as the space in front of the property is actually clear when the van arrives. The template happens when the units are in, fixed and level, whoever is fitting them. No stone is cut from a plan.
