Bathroom worktops and vanity tops in Seven Sisters

Yes. Seven Sisters is on the patch, and the postcodes we work here are N15. It is worked on our north London run, along with the rest of Haringey. Loading exemptions on red routes are narrow, time-limited and heavily camera-enforced, so we plan around them rather than relying on them. Small, roughly square kitchens with a back door and a window in the middle of the run: short lengths, few joins, and a lot to work around. What that does to a vanity is push the whole job into a narrow depth, because a bathroom takes the same stone as a kitchen in about two thirds of the width. The stone is the simple half of a bathroom fit.

What decides between them is usually the wall: what it is built of, how flat it is, and where the sockets ended up. Both are templated after the worktop is down and settled, because they are cut to the wall itself. An upstand covers the gap where the worktop meets a wall that is not flat, which is its real job. The structure below is commercial, so the floor is often timber over a shop ceiling and the load path under an island is worth thinking about. Windows sit low over the basin in these houses, and that window caps the height of any splash return before the rest of the room is even considered. The bathroom in a house like this is rarely where it started.
