With the van at the door the largest formats become practical, and the largest formats are the reason to choose this material for an open-plan room. One survey, one cut list, one fit.

A household choosing for itself usually settles on a matt finish once it has seen both in the room. Gloss shows more in a kitchen that is actually cooked in, and that is easier to judge at home. That is a fabrication decision, taken before anything is cut.

What moves the price

Our sintered stone runs from £250 to £300 per square metre for most of the catalogue, with 65 colours in the range. What moves the number is the cut list — joins, cut-outs and how the pieces nest into a slab — rather than the floor area of the room.

Questions

Dekton & sintered in Redbridge

Do you need rear access to fit sintered stone in a house in Redbridge?

It helps and it is usually available here. A side gate or a through route lets us bring full-length pieces in whole, which means fewer joins. Where the only way in is through the front, we say so at survey and size the pieces to the hallway.

Can we see a sample before ordering sintered stone?

Not by post. We can only send offcuts of the quartz range, so sintered stone is chosen from the range and confirmed before anything is cut. If holding the material first matters to you, the quartz samples are free and there is nothing to visit either way.

Do you cover the whole of Redbridge?

Yes — 21 neighbourhoods across 10 postcode districts, Aldborough Hatch, Aldersbrook, Barkingside and Clayhall among them. There is nothing to visit: the template is taken in your kitchen and the stone is fitted there by the same team.
