Unrestricted kerbside is straightforward as long as the space in front of the property is actually clear when the van arrives. A templater circling for a space arrives late into a slot that was already tight, and the drawing is what suffers. Two hours is the realistic figure. An ex-council house is solidly built to a standard plan, with the kitchen at the rear and a back door next to it. Carcass heights are read individually, since legs bottoming out on concrete mean the units do not share one plane. No stone is ever cut from a plan. The retained nib of the old back wall is where these kitchens want a mitre, and getting that internal corner tight is what the job is judged on.

Estate layout with front gardens, low walls and gates, and reasonably wide streets, so vehicle access is easier than most of W12 - the constraint is the narrow original front door and a hall barely 900mm wide. Some properties still have the original side alley to the garden, which is the better route if the gate can come off its hinges. Level has to hold across the whole room rather than along one wall, or a floor that falls end to end shows as a step where two pieces meet. The template plots it as it is, at the exact height the worktop will sit, and the drawing carries that through. Measured at worktop height, nowhere else. Every base unit fixed to the wall, packed and levelled, and any dry-lining or patching completed - the template reads the wall face it is given, so that has to be the finished face. Where a landlord or housing provider is involved there is a specification to meet and a process to follow, and both are settled before a date is offered.
