Is it right for you

What Dunna suits

The supply rate for Dunna is £150 per square metre, putting it 2nd of 71 among the sintered stone we stock. The median sintered stone here is £261, so Dunna comes in £111 below the middle of its own range. The next step down in sintered stone is Grafite at £110, and the next up is Keon at £164.

The thinness is a fabrication decision as much as a look. Slim slabs cut and mitre well but want handling carefully on site, so the fitting takes longer and the labour reflects it.

Put against its own material, Dunna clears the cheapest sintered stone by £40 and stops £216 short of the dearest. 8 other surfaces in the catalogue carry the same rate, across different materials, so the price alone will not choose between them.

We have not recorded a colour tone for this one, so it will not show under a tone filter. We would rather leave that blank than guess it from a catalogue photograph. At a similar price you could have Alaska, a quartz at £150, which is a different material doing a different job for roughly the same money.

Because the patterns are printed and pressed, a second slab matches the first without anybody hunting for a pair. On a big kitchen that is worth more than a rarer pattern would be.

The photograph above is indicative. Screens shift colour, and batches vary, so a slab can read warmer or cooler than an image suggests. We hold offcuts of the Worktop Worx quartz collection only, so we cannot post you a piece of this one. It is ordered in by the slab, and the slab is what you would be shown before anything is cut.

What happens after you pick a colour

  1. A written quote

Send the sizes, a plan or a few photographs. A person prices it and itemises every piece, cut-out and edge.

  2. The template visit

Two to three hours for a typical kitchen. We digitally template every run, record wall run-out, unit heights and appliance positions, agree with you where the joins will fall and where the tap holes and drainer grooves go, and confirm the edge profile.

  3. Fitted in 5–10 working days

Dunna is cut to that template and fitted 5 to 10 working days from template, with a 5-year workmanship guarantee.

Before you commit

What you pay, and when you can still change your mind

Nothing to see the price

The survey and the written quote cost nothing and carry no deposit. A deposit is taken when you accept and book the template, and the balance is due before installation. Every cut-out, edge and join is priced on its own line.

Cancel before the template

Up to the template visit you can cancel and we refund the deposit less anything already spent reserving material. After it, the stone is cut to your kitchen and cannot be put back, which is why we template rather than work from your measurements. Read the terms

Something to show them

If someone else has to agree, the quote is itemised so it can be read line by line by whoever is checking it, and we can arrange to show you the actual slab before it is cut. What the guarantees cover

Dekton

Why you would choose sintered stone

Sintered surfaces like Dekton are the most durable of the three: highly scratch and heat resistant, and thin enough to take a fine mitred edge.

Most of what we fit is 20mm or 30mm. Where you want a chunkier look, we mitre the edge (a 20mm slab folded down to give a 40mm or 60mm apron), which reads as solid stone without the weight or cost of a genuinely thick slab.
