Kitchen worktop fitters for London & the Home Counties
We template it, we cut it, and we fit it. Most worktop companies do one of those three things and buy in the other two, which is why there is usually more than one number to ring when something needs to be right. Here there is one.
What we do
Six services, and most kitchens use four of them
A replacement uses quotation, template, fabrication and fitting. A new kitchen uses the same four without the changeover. Splashbacks and upstands get decided before the tiler is booked, not after.

Worktop overlays, and why we do not fit them
A lot of people looking to change a worktop without changing the kitchen find overlays first. It is worth knowing what the difference actually is before you price either one.
An overlay bonds a thin layer of stone or composite over the worktop you already have. It is quicker and it is cheaper. What you keep is everything underneath: the old surface, the old substrate, and any water damage that has been quietly swelling the carcass under the sink. The finished top also sits proud of where your worktop used to be, which shows at the ends of a run and against an appliance.
We do not fit them. That is a choice about what we are willing to guarantee, not a claim that nobody should ever buy one. If an overlay is right for your budget, take one, and take it from a company that fits them properly.
Full worktop replacement

The proposition
Three trades, one company, one person accountable
A worktop passes through three sets of hands: whoever measures the room, whoever cuts the slab, and whoever fits it. Split those between three companies and every problem becomes a conversation about whose fault it was.
We kept all three in house. The templater who plots your kitchen writes the drawing our own machine cuts to, and the installer standing in your kitchen on fitting day works for the same company. When a join lands a centimetre off where you wanted it, there is nobody to blame and nobody to chase.
It is also why we can fit 3 to 7 working days after we template. Nobody is waiting in another workshop’s queue.
We take the template
The person who plots your kitchen is ours, and they brief the person who cuts it. Nothing is described second hand.
We cut the stone
Fabrication happens in our own workshop, where a problem costs an hour on the bench instead of a wasted day in your kitchen.
We fit it
Our installers scribe, join and seal it. If something needs putting right, there is nobody for us to pass it to.

Being straight with you
What we do not do
Nobody publishes this, and it is the thing that causes the arguments. Here is exactly where our job stops, so you can book the other trades in the right order.
None of this is us being awkward. Stone work, plumbing and electrics are separate trades with separate liabilities, and a worktop company that offers to plumb your sink in is usually the same one that leaves you arguing about a leak. We would rather tell you now and be right than tell you on the day.
We do not plumb in taps, sinks or appliances
We seat and seal your sink and tap into the stone. Connecting the water, the waste and any appliance under the worktop is a plumber, and they need to come after us rather than alongside us.
We do not wire in hobs, sockets or extractors
We cut the aperture and the socket openings to the exact model you have bought. An electrician makes the connections.
We do not fit or level kitchen units
Units must be fitted, fixed and level before we can template. We will tell you plainly at template if something underneath is not right, but correcting it is a fitter or joiner.
We do not tile, plaster or decorate
We scribe the stone to the wall you have. Tiling goes on after the worktop, and making good the plaster or paint above an upstand is not ours.
We do not design kitchens or supply units
Doors, carcasses, drawer runners and appliances come from your kitchen supplier. We work on top of what they have installed.
We only work in quartz, granite and sintered stone
No laminate, no timber, no acrylic. If one of those is genuinely the right answer for your budget, we will say so rather than sell you a slab.

Material starts at £110/m² supply for the slab itself. Fabrication, templating and fitting are quoted as their own lines so you can see what you are paying for, rather than one number with nothing behind it.

How much does it cost to replace a kitchen worktop?
Material runs from £110/m² supply to around £550/m² supply depending on the surface you choose. That figure is the stone only. Templating, fabrication, cut-outs, edge work and installation are quoted as their own lines on top, because what they cost depends on your run lengths, how many cut-outs you need and how the kitchen is reached. Send plans, a sketch or photographs with rough measurements and an indicative range comes back the same working day, with a fixed itemised price once the design is settled.
Can you replace just the worktop and keep my kitchen units?
Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. The units stay where they are, the old tops come out in the morning and the stone goes down the same day. What has to be sound is the carcasses: stone is considerably heavier than laminate, so a unit swollen by a slow leak under the sink will not carry it. We check that at the template visit and tell you plainly what needs putting right before fitting day, rather than discovering it with your old worktop already in the garden.
Do you fit worktop overlays?
No. An overlay bonds a thin layer over the worktop you already have, which leaves the old surface, the old substrate and any water damage sitting underneath it, and raises the finished height. We take the old top out and fit full-thickness stone to a template of your kitchen. It is more work on the day and it is the reason our cut-outs are machined into the slab rather than formed around what was there. If an overlay is genuinely what you want, we are not the right company and we would rather say so now.
Will you fit a worktop I have bought somewhere else?
No. We template, fabricate and install as one job, because that is what lets us stand behind it. The template drawing our machine cuts to is the same drawing our installer works from, and the workmanship guarantee covers all of it. Fitting stone somebody else cut means guaranteeing a cut we did not make, from a template we did not take.
Can you cut a worktop to size?
We cut every worktop to size, but always from a template taken in your kitchen rather than from measurements sent to us. Stone is cut once. A template taken off a plan, or off units that are not yet fixed and level, produces a worktop that has to be forced into place, and you see that in the gaps at the wall and along the join lines.
How long does the whole thing take?
Fitting happens 3 to 7 working days after we template, and installation itself is a single visit: a morning for a straightforward run, most of the day for an island with splashbacks. What sits in front of that is set by your kitchen rather than by us, because we cannot template until the units are fitted and level. Quotation and samples cost nothing and can run alongside your kitchen fit.
