What Trance suits
At £350 per square metre supply only, Trance is the 64th of the 71 sintered stone surfaces we fit, counting up from the cheapest. That is £89 above the £261 median for the family, so it is a dearer choice within its own material rather than across the catalogue. The next sintered stone up in price is Arga at £355.
Grey sintered stone is the most practical surface in this range. It is highly scratch and heat resistant, needs no sealing, and the finer finishes read very differently at arm’s length than they do in a catalogue.
Trance sits £240 above the cheapest sintered stone we fit and £16 below the dearest, so it is mid-range within its own material rather than at either end. 6 other surfaces in the catalogue carry the same rate, across different materials, so the price alone will not choose between them. Trance is 21st by price among the 21 grey surfaces in this material.
20 other sintered stone surfaces share its grey tone, Aura at £261, Marmorio at £260 and Soke at £260 among them. At a similar price you could have Platino Sensa, a granite at £350, which is a different material doing a different job for roughly the same money.
At this end you are paying for a print and a finish that are harder to make, and nothing else. Scratch resistance, heat resistance and the absence of any sealing are the same as at the cheapest point on the list.
The photograph above is indicative. Screens shift colour, and batches vary, so a slab can read warmer or cooler than an image suggests. We hold offcuts of the Worktop Worx quartz collection only, so we cannot post you a piece of this one. It is ordered in by the slab, and the slab is what you would be shown before anything is cut.
Thicknesses and slab sizes available in this colour are confirmed in writing when we quote, because stock changes. Fitted 5–10 working days from template, with a 25-year material warranty and a 5-year workmanship guarantee.

A written quote
Send the sizes, a plan or a few photographs. A person prices it and itemises every piece, cut-out and edge.
The template visit
Two to three hours for a typical kitchen. We digitally template every run, record wall run-out, unit heights and appliance positions, agree with you where the joins will fall and where the tap holes and drainer grooves go, and confirm the edge profile.
Fitted in 5–10 working days
Trance is cut to that template and fitted 5 to 10 working days from template, with a 5-year workmanship guarantee.
What you pay, and when you can still change your mind
Nothing to see the price
The survey and the written quote cost nothing and carry no deposit. A deposit is taken when you accept and book the template, and the balance is due before installation. Every cut-out, edge and join is priced on its own line.
Cancel before the template
Up to the template visit you can cancel and we refund the deposit less anything already spent reserving material. After it, the stone is cut to your kitchen and cannot be put back, which is why we template rather than work from your measurements. Read the terms
Something to show them
If someone else has to agree, the quote is itemised so it can be read line by line by whoever is checking it, and we can arrange to show you the actual slab before it is cut. What the guarantees cover

Similar surfaces
Other sintered stone at a similar price
Worth comparing two or three before you settle, because the same room can take a much darker or much busier surface than a photograph suggests.
Sintered surfaces like Dekton are the most durable of the three: highly scratch and heat resistant, and thin enough to take a fine mitred edge.
Most of what we fit is 20mm or 30mm. Where you want a chunkier look, we mitre the edge (a 20mm slab folded down to give a 40mm or 60mm apron), which reads as solid stone without the weight or cost of a genuinely thick slab.
Send plans or photos with rough measurements and we will come back with a real number rather than a range that moves later. Free samples are available on the Worktop Worx quartz collection, though not on this one.
