Houses on modern estates are built to a handful of standard plans, so the kitchen is square, predictable and modest in area. Piece size is set by the lift car, not by the slab. The workshop works from the approved drawing, so whoever signs it off is signing off the join positions too. Appliance changes after nesting are a new piece.

A join forced by the route still sits over a gable, so it is no poorer a join for that. If a piece cannot be got in at all, we say so at the template rather than on the day. Getting that wrong leaves a finished, machined piece that cannot reach the room, which is a remake rather than a trim. Nesting follows the route, not the other way round.

They read strongly across a dark stone and are nearly invisible on a pale one, so look before deciding. The workshop cuts to the plotted line rather than to a nominal dimension, which is why a scribe edge leaves the bench deliberately oversize. Nothing leaves the bench expecting a square wall.

The workmanship guarantee runs 5 years on every kitchen we fit. Damage found on the bench never leaves the workshop, and damage on the carry is remade under the same cover. Floors and units are protected before anything comes through the door. A height barrier on the car park entrance rules out a tail-lift van outright, and the stone then transfers to a trolley at the barrier itself. The maximum piece length is fixed at drawing stage and every join is placed over a cabinet gable from there. The crate is built to the same measurement.
