The middle half of our sintered stone range runs from £250 to £300 per square metre, across 71 colours, 63 of them Dekton. Bigger kitchens are priced by the slab count. The template shows whether the run and an island nest into one slab or need two, and that decides more than the square metres do.

Golborne has the highest share of post-2010 housing of the 19 Kensington and Chelsea neighbourhoods we list, at 24%, ahead of Earl's Court (20%) and St Quintin Park (7%); Brompton has the lowest, at 0%. Modern carcasses are built square to a module, so a Dekton template on them goes quickly.

Across Kensington and Chelsea's 19 neighbourhoods, the share of homes that are flats runs from 8% in World's End to 98% in Earl's Court, with Golborne (96%) and West Brompton (95%) next. Where the kitchen is upstairs, the thinner Dekton formats weigh less on the stairs and turn more easily on a landing.
