A picture saved on a phone is a fine place to start bathroom worktop fitting in Thamesmead, though it says nothing about what your own kitchen will allow. The original estate housing has small planned kitchens with concrete or dense blockwork walls and standard 600mm units in a single or double run; the later brick-built housing association terraces are slightly more generous but still galley. Islands are rare because the rooms were never sized for them. If you are not sure which of those describes your kitchen, that is normal, and it is exactly what the template visit settles.
The ceiling is a concrete soffit with a skim on it, so there is nothing to fix into overhead and no void to hide anything in. Nobody looks at a bathroom surface until the sealant discolours, at which point nobody looks at anything else in the room. A vanity is where an expensive slab stops being expensive.
Walls are dense block or in-situ concrete with a bonded plaster, so the bottom course of tiles brings plaster with it when the old top comes off. The service riser is boxed into a corner of the room, and the top is notched round it with a radiused internal corner rather than a square one. A boxed riser in the corner is the usual obstacle upstairs.
What the rooms sit inside, mostly, is 1960s-70s system-built concrete estate, deck-access maisonette, 1980s housing association terrace and 2010s regeneration block. The template reads them differently even where the layout looks identical.
