Bathroom worktops and vanity tops in Stepney

The bowl position has to be settled before templating, since the grooves are set out from it. A boiler hangs on the wall above the run in most of these, and its pipework drops exactly where a splashback wants to go. What that does to a vanity is push the whole job into a narrow depth, because a bathroom takes the same stone as a kitchen in about two thirds of the width. Nothing about a vanity is standard except the depth of the unit.

Undermount bowls are cut and polished in the workshop and dry-fitted to the stone on the bench before anything is loaded. We seat and seal the sink and hob on the day; water, waste, gas and electrics are for your plumber and electrician. An L can be mitred at the corner for a continuous look or butt-jointed over the gable, and the two are different money and different risk. A bathroom ordered with the kitchen is taken from the same slab run, so the two rooms match rather than nearly match. The thickness follows the kitchen unless you ask otherwise.
