  1. Flats · 25.6%

A house usually gives somewhere to set the pieces down flat before they go on the units, which is when the last check on the scribe gets made. One visit to measure, one to fit.

  2. Lived in by their owners · 69.5%

Households choosing for themselves usually want to live with a sample for a week. Quartz makes that worthwhile, because the batch will match it. None of that changes the material, only the plan for getting it in.

What moves the price

Our quartz runs from £150 to £270 per square metre for most of the catalogue, with 69 colours in the range. What moves the number is the cut list (joins, cut-outs and how the pieces nest into a slab) rather than the floor area of the room.

Where most of the catalogue sits, supply only. Fabrication, edges, cut-outs and fitting are quoted on top.

Questions

Quartz in Havering

01

Do you need rear access to fit quartz in a house in Havering?

It helps and it is usually available here. A side gate or a through route lets us bring full-length pieces in whole, which means fewer joins. Where the only way in is through the front, we say so at survey and size the pieces to the hallway.

02

Can we see a sample before ordering quartz?

On our own collection, yes, posted free with nothing to visit. The ranges we order in by the slab cannot be posted, and each colour page says which it is. Leave a sample in the kitchen for a few days against your own floor and units: showroom light is not a fair test, and this is a decision most people only make once.

03

Do you cover the whole of Havering?

Yes, 27 neighbourhoods across 10 postcode districts, Ardleigh Green, Chase Cross, Collier Row and Corbets Tey among them. There is nothing to visit: the template is taken in your kitchen and the stone is fitted there by the same team.
