quartz worktop
QUARTZ · WWX COLLECTION
From £150 /m²
Made to order · cut to your kitchen, fitted 5–10 working days from template
Supply only: the slab itself. Fabrication, edge profile, cut-outs, delivery and installation are quoted on top and itemised, so nothing appears at the end that you did not agree at the start.
Is it right for you
Calacatta Storm is £150 per square metre supply only, which places it 17th of 69 in our quartz range. The median quartz here is £180, so Calacatta Storm comes in £30 below the middle of its own range. The next step down in quartz is Calacatta Aura at £150, and the next up is Capri White at £150.
Ordering is straightforward with an engineered material. A replacement piece months later comes out of the same product line, so a later extension or a repaired cut-out matches the original run far more closely than natural stone would.
From the bottom of the quartz range Calacatta Storm is £20 up, and from the top it is £350 down. 8 other surfaces in the catalogue carry the same rate, across different materials, so the price alone will not choose between them.
We have not recorded a colour tone for this one, so it will not show under a tone filter. We would rather leave that blank than guess it from a catalogue photograph. For about the same outlay there is Dunna at £150 in sintered stone, so the money is not what separates them.
At the entry end of the quartz range this is a working surface rather than a statement one. It does the job a busy family kitchen asks of a worktop and leaves the budget for the fabrication.
The photograph above is indicative. Screens shift colour, and batches vary, so a slab can read warmer or cooler than an image suggests. A free sample under your own lighting settles it in a way no photograph can.
At a glance
Thicknesses and slab sizes available in this colour are confirmed in writing when we quote, because stock changes. Fitted 5–10 working days from template, with a 25-year material warranty and a 5-year workmanship guarantee.

If you choose it
Send the sizes, a plan or a few photographs. A person prices it and itemises every piece, cut-out and edge.
Two to three hours for a typical kitchen. We digitally template every run, record wall run-out, unit heights and appliance positions, agree with you where the joins will fall and where the tap holes and drainer grooves go, and confirm the edge profile.
Calacatta Storm is cut to that template and fitted 5 to 10 working days from template, with a 5-year workmanship guarantee.
Before you commit
The survey and the written quote cost nothing and carry no deposit. A deposit is taken when you accept and book the template, and the balance is due before installation. Every cut-out, edge and join is priced on its own line.
Up to the template visit you can cancel and we refund the deposit less anything already spent reserving material. After it, the stone is cut to your kitchen and cannot be put back, which is why we template rather than work from your measurements. Read the terms
If someone else has to agree, a free Calacatta Storm sample settles it faster than a screen will, and the quote is itemised so it can be read line by line by whoever is checking it. What the guarantees cover

“We recently had our kitchen worktops supplied and fitted by Worktop WorX using Laurent Gold sintered stone, and we couldn’t be happier with the result. The finish, quality, and attention to detail were outstanding from start to finish. Karem was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process professional, knowledgeable, and always available to answer any questions. The new worktops have completely transformed our kitchen and look amazing. Highly recommend Worktop WorX to anyone looking for high quality kitchen worktops, bespoke workmanship, and excellent customer service.”
“Kareem did the countertops dur8ng my kitchen remodel, and I was so impressed that I had him back to do the laundry room as well, which tells you everything you need to know. He is an absolute gem. Shows up when he says he will (which, let’s be honest, is rarer than it should be), does beautifully work, and clearly takes real pride in what he does. The countertops look fantastic, and he even went above and beyond, using leftover quartz to create an extra counter in my bathroom. Genius. He’s kind, professional, reasonably priced, and just gets on with it. No fuss, no drama, just a job very well done. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and will absolutely be using him again if the need arises. Happy to answer any questions.”

Quartz
Quartz is the default for a busy family kitchen: it is engineered, non-porous, needs no sealing and looks the same slab to slab, so a big run stays consistent.
Most of what we fit is 20mm or 30mm. Where you want a chunkier look, we mitre the edge (a 20mm slab folded down to give a 40mm or 60mm apron), which reads as solid stone without the weight or cost of a genuinely thick slab.
Nothing soaks in, so wine, oil and coffee wipe off.
No sealant schedule, ever.
Manufactured, so a second slab matches the first.
The resin can scorch, so hot pans go on a stand.
The quartz range is the one we can post free.

Samples are free and arrive by post. When you are ready, send plans or photos with rough measurements and we will come back with a real number rather than a range that moves later.
