Bleach and limescale remover harm a polished finish rather than clean it, whichever material is on the units. A seal is not waterproofing. It only buys time to wipe a spill up. The edge profile is its own line, so a shaped edge and a square one are two different figures. Where a run finishes into a reveal, the depth of that reveal is taken at worktop height and nowhere else. A deep scribe eats into the back of the piece, which is quietly important on a stone with directional figure, since the pattern moves backwards as that depth comes off. An engineered surface yellows under standing warmth; natural stone does not.
